One of the newest varieties, Enamorada, displays a beautiful deep pink color. Enamorada means “in love,” and you will undoubtedly fall in love with this new variety and the entire “The Magriets” Chrysanthemum series.
DELIFLOR AMERICAS
In the first quarter of 2021, Deliflor Americas decided to move their headquarters to a new farm in an area three times larger than the current facility. When completed, this move will increase their propagation and customer service capacity by 50 percent.
Deliflor Americas’ new headquarters is fulfilling a dream common to all innovators, furthering their purpose to breed, innovate, and take care of talent in a flourishing environment.
The new headquarters is planned with 100% sustainability in mind. This will include solar energy; precision agriculture; water treatment and irrigation using the latest technology; full LED lighting in both operations and administrative areas; modern greenhouses with a high degree of automation; a vase life room with controlled variables and vertical racks. Doing this will optimize spaces and double the capacity of their trials. Additionally, 30% of the farm area will be designated to protect the forest and wildlife, providing a better quality of life for Deliflor Americas’ workers.
Deliflor Americas hopes to be enjoying their new farm in the first quarter of 2023 and, as they wrote, “to be able to continue dreaming together with all our clients at Deliflor Americas.”
NEW “THE MAGRIETS” CHRYSANTHEMUM SERIES
With the needs of their growers in mind, Deliflor has created a new series of Disbud Anemone Chrysanthemums called “The Magriets.” These chrysanthemums resemble Gerberas but have two to three times the vase life and beautiful foliage.
