Easter is around the corner, but there’s still time to make some smart moves that will boost your sales this season. Here are a few tips:
Offer Discounts. With competition high this time of year, a special discount can give you the competitive edge you need. Think of arrangements or products your customers may need for their holiday activities (like family dinners or visiting relatives and friends), then promote them at a special discounted price.
Create Urgency. Encourage your customers to BUY NOW with special savings if they purchase items earlier. You can also experiment with different “Today-only” sales during the holiday week. This is a great way to clear out last season’s products!
Get Them Engaged. The more you can engage your customers with your website, the more likely they are to purchase. One great idea is to create an “Easter Egg Hunt” promotion, where customers go through different pages on your website to find hidden “eggs”. By clicking on each egg, they are taken to a landing page with a special discount code for an Easter floral arrangement.
Promote a Giveaway on Social Media. Another way to engage your customers is through contests and giveaways. One great idea is to hold a contest where the customer has to guess something correctly and be entered to win a prize. You could have them guess the location of a particular floral photo, the number of marbles in a vase, or anything that ties into your business. You may also want to give your social media campaign a paid boost, as it will expand your reach.
Create a Hashtag. Social media is all about user-generated content, so ask your followers to take a photo or share a favorite Easter memory and post it on social media with a hashtag containing your brand name. Make it a contest for the winner to receive a free Easter arrangement, then post a photo on social media of your winner with the arrangement, using the same hashtag.
Remarket to Past Online Customers. If you’ve set up Facebook pixel and custom audiences in order to retarget your online customers, then use this to remarket to them for Easter. Look at products they’ve searched for in the past, and offer them now with a special Easter discount.
Hold a DIY Workshop. A great way to drive customers into your shop is through a DIY Workshop. Use the DIY Easter centerpiece we’ve included in this issue of LivRio, or create your own, and invite customers in for a hands-on, step-by-step workshop to create their own Easter masterpiece. Make sure you have all the needed supplies on hand, and do any needed prep work to make the workshop as fun and easy as possible.
Set up an Email Campaign. Create an email featuring your Easter promotions, with an irresistible offer that will get subscribers to rush in before it runs out. Create a subject line that creates so much interest that they will HAVE to open the email and read it. This is the most important part of your email, so take time to get it right.
Check Your Inventory. With all these marketing steps in place, you’ll have more customers than ever wanting your products. Don’t disappoint them by running out of supplies! Make sure you’re well stocked and can fill orders as they’re placed.
These tips will help you have a great Easter season, so hop to it and reap the benefits!
