Royal Van Zanten is proud to introduce their Statice variety Navy Sun Birds.
Statice is already popular, but with the announcement of Pantone’s 2022 Color of the Year, we will likely see a huge increase in the demand for this blue/purple flower. And with the addition of Navy Sunbirds to Royal Van Zanten’s colorful varieties, you have a vast array of blues (as well as many other colors) to choose from year-round.
Statice stems are beautifully structured with lots of small flowers at the ends of the lateral branches, making them ideal for bouquets. Up close, the flowers may look delicate and fragile, but statice are strong, versatile flowers with a bright, radiant look. This gives them not only a very long vase life but also makes them perfect dried flowers: After drying, they retain their color and continue to provide pleasure for a long time.
Robust Statice with a Long Vase Life
Besides creating a wide range of colors, Royal Van Zanten’s breeding focus is on robustness (resistance) and vase life up to 16 days with outstanding production. This ensures a reliable cultivation process and results in a high-quality product like the Navy Sun Birds Statice. Reliability is also a priority at an earlier stage: in producing their starting material, Royal Van Zanten’s team works in a virus-free environment from start to finish. This guarantees that all starting material is clean and reliable and offers a good balance between production and quality.
Excellent Performance
To ensure they give their customers the best possible advice, Royal Van Zanten tests all their varieties at different locations across the globe. In this way, they know how each performs in many different conditions. They then share this valuable information with clients so they can make the right choice.
Back in fashion, totally hip and trendy, Statice are the ideal finishing touch for every bouquet!
