Use these important tools to help automate your social media accounts!
In every issue of LivRio, we mention the power of social media when marketing your floral business. There are so many platforms to choose from: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter—the list goes on. If only there was an easy way to manage them all, so you could save time by not duplicating effort. Well there is: social media automation tools.
This automation software enables you to manage multiple social media accounts in one place. You can post content, reply to comments, even schedule when to post and to which platforms. Many of these software programs also let you analyze how your content has been performing on each social media platform.
The more social media marketing grows, the more of these automation tools become available. You should definitely do your research to find the one that’s best for you. In this article, however, we want to introduce you to two social media automation tools that we feel would work really well for a floral business.
Sendible
While this is a newer platform, users of Sendible have been raving about its features. Their reviews even place it above Hootsuite, one of the most widely used automation tools out there. Sendible supports all the major social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, plus they support well-known blogging platforms like WordPress, Medium, and Tumblr.
Sprout Social
Similar to Sendible, Sprout Social has a simple, integrated dashboard which manages all interactions across your social media accounts. However, Sprout Social doesn’t support blogging platforms, so wouldn’t be the best choice if you have a blog as well as social media accounts.
They do have some great tools, though: Bot Builder helps you create automated chatbots to quickly respond to the most common incoming messages as well as share information. Their calendar has a queue feature that allows you to schedule multiple posts ahead of time. A feature called ViralPost determines the best time for your posts to go online based on past audience engagement.
Sendible and Social Sprout are just two of the many social media automation tools available to you. There are dozens more, each offering similar features, but some may be more to your liking than others in terms of user experience. The key is to do your research, choose one, sign up for a free trial, and see if it will work for you. You can always move on to another if it’s not the best fit.
The whole purpose of a social media automation tool is to make your social media marketing as easy as possible. Good luck, and good marketing!
